Yeah, once you get in the building you should be OK. I've been frisked before at MSG, but not every time. If they are patting people down, as a guy, I feel like the best method of concealing your stash is to "crotch it". Pick the biggest, most homophobic-looking security guard and get in his line; he won't go anywhere near your junk.

Wait until the lights go down before you light up -- no blazing during Ed's pre-set. And be considerate of people around you: If they ask you not to blow smoke at them, don't. If they ask you to share, do (just don't tell them that joint's been in your crotch).

One last rule: If they play Nothing as it Seems, you have to take a hit and hold it until Ed starts singing the first verse.

It won't be like it was at Bonnaroo - that's for sure. They frown upon it - I recommend the one hit - less smoke than a joint. It is definitely doable.
