I was hoping some people would take a listen to this musician I signed to my indie label (t.w.i.t.a. records)
and give me some honest feedback.

    it is ok. His voice is kinda unique. He has talent. I liked the house of the rising sun cover.

    I'd say if that's your target...he's fitting right in.

    But those contemporaries have pretty much all peaked and aren't really growing a fan-base anymore and there's not much momentum being carried in the nu-metal scene anymore that's going to lift this artist any higher than where he's at now.

    So if you're looking at him from the stand point of something fresh and new...that's way off base and not going to happen.

    If you see him as an artist who's going to take off with popularity in the fading nu-metal genre...he's going to have to come out with some new material that sets himself apart from the others.

    If you want someone who will grab a small fraction of the market share from the most dedicated fans in the nu-metal scene...then you've got something.
