So, can we have a rundown on celebs that were rocking out at PJ20? Rodman was there, Cornell (obviously), but who else was there? Be interesting to see who sat with the mortals and who was backstage!

I saw Dennis Rodman. Eddie made reference to a group of musicians in the front which I was told was bono and Pete Townsend...but I did not see them personally. .

Fuck celebrities at PJ20. This weekend is about PJ not people who just get noticed because they have made a fools of themselves in public or reality TV. PJ & these lot should not to be mentioned in the breath!!

Dennis Rodman was one of the best rebounders ever.

I hope Patrick Warburton made it. Every time I see him on a talk show he's wearing a PJ shirt. And that's cool Danny masterson was there... back in '03 he waited in the ten club line with the rest of us, didn't use his celeb status to try to get backstage seats or whatever, he was just a regular guy... I guess that's cool even though he's a Scientologist or whatever. But he's old school PJ fan!

I would have laid heavy wood on Bono. I think he'd be prissy, but ultimately younger. A clear advantage over Pete.

I'm not a hockey guy, so cut me some slack...but I spent about the first hour rocking out next to Chelios before someone finally told me, "dude, that's Chris Chelios". He had no interest in acting like someone famous and seemed way cool. And there was another hockey player, too, but I can't remember his name. Oh yeah...Rodman was great to everyone and it seemed like he just wanted to be a regular fan in the audience. He went nuts during Release. It was an amazing thing to see a recently inducted member to the NBA Hall of Fame just completely lose himself into that song. Inspiration comes from alot of places...

  • Met Mark Arm. That was cool.

  • chelios and rodman were wayyyyyyyy left on night 2 in the back of the floor

chelios seemed more into it than rodman

rodman spent night 1 trying to get on stage but being told no by security

as a hoop fan i do like rodman

but there was a guy who spent like an hour trying to get rodman's attention DURING the show

so to the guy in the ADA row with a red GORDYs sweatshirt on... maybe next time watch the show instead of trying to get an ex NBA player to respond to your drunken "what's up DRod"

and no one calls him drod?

That was probably this guy Jay that I met on the weekend, a friend of a friend. He gets mistaken for Grohl all the time.

Well, Rodman and the cigar-smoking guy who was with him (who I really think was Mark Cuban, but would LOVE if someone could confirm) both had all access passes. They could have watched side-stage like everyone else, but it seemed like they chose to be in the audience to experience the show from there. Rodman rocked out the whole time and sang along. It was pretty awesome.

he was not with mark cuban... i saw that guy both nights... he was not cuban

that's odd about the all access thing... although row 3 is better than side stage

but like i said... they spent night 2 wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy left of mccready

Not Cuban. Night 1 I was next to Rodman, Chelios, and their crew most of the night...and they were all actually very normal, nice, and into the show. Agree with you on the side stage thing - instead of being up there they CHOSE to hang in the crowd. After the show they all used their "all-access, go anywhere" badges to hit backstage. Rodman was really, really into Release, which was very cool to see. Maybe he was trying to get up on stage, but I didn't notice that. But from what I witnessed, he was polite to everyone.

i didn't mean to imply that rodman was being rude

although standing at the end of a row where you don't have seats could be considered such

in regards to the stage thing... i felt like ed had seen dennis in the crowd then when dennis looked/motioned at the security guy to the left of Mike the guy shrugged and just mouthed NO

    who knows

the guy that was with him with the backwards visor seemed douchey but maybe it's just because he had a backwards visor on ;)
  • I don't stargaze at any shows I go to but a friend of mine said he ran into Olivia Trinidad Arias
(George Harrison's wife) at the side stages. Anyone know why she was there?
