Alpine day 1 weather updates

Hello all,

I drive a 78 VW that will most likely not do too hott in the grassy/muddy parking lot if it rains a lot...I am wondering if there is anyone there that can give me an update on the conditions of the parking lot at the current time? I plan to leave around 1:30 and I know after that it is only expecting light rains which shouldn't be a problem...Much appreciated.
