Did Pearl Jam Coin the Phrase "What The F*ck" with Porch?

edited August 2008 in The Porch
Or at the very least popularize it? I don't remember WTF being a part of our lexicon in 1992 when Porch came out and it's now a daily part of our conversation. At least it is in some parts of the world (I.E. East Coast). I was just recently out of high school in 1992 and don't ever recall that phrase being used as often as it is today. I'm just saying.

I think what the fuck has been used for quite some time now.

I mean people have been saying-

what the fuck were you thinking?
what the fuck are you doing?
    etc

    for a while now.

It was used all the time in the 80's. It was one of the catch phrases from Risky Business.

Yep, they also invented the saying "What the Hell?" which is a cleaner version.

Seriously though, no. Maybe you were just too young to hear all the adults that always said "What the Fuck???" when something happened. The internet wasn't much of a thing back then, so WTF didn't actually exist.
