Keela from Indianapolis checking in... with faith in karma- here goes:
As a really long-time 10Cer, I've seen this band everywhere from Australia & NZ to Mexico and Canada. (I can't believe it's been 20 years)
The thing is- I didn't buy tickets for the show this weekend... a show that's within driving range for me. A show at Alpine Valley... the place where I was given the harmonica I've carried in my bag for luck since June 2003.
Yes, I'm still 10C... I just believed someone who told me that I was supposed to grow up (and out of this stuff) now that I'm 35 :(
I tried, but the weekend is here and- well- I guess I can't. I need to be a part of this... I know (by going) I would disappoint the people around me who think it's immature rebellion- but the regret (resentment) for not going will be worse.
I have a stickman tattoo reminding me that- being "Alive" means keeping Alive the spirit of who truly I am too... no matter what.
So, with that out of the way, I guess I'm hoping a fellow 10Cer will come through with an extra ticket they can sell me this weekend. Ironically, I've given away 1 of my every 2 10C tickets bought over the years- I did it as a way of "paying it forward" for all the good things I've been given in life, and never meant to ask for one back.
Until now- I know that's what I'm asking. I hope you understand anyway.

I'm going to find you, and when I do, I don't plan on requesting a picture or an autograph. I'm just going redeem that drink you promised to buy all of "us f*#$ers" in New Zealand last year if we ever caught you out somewhere... and I'm going straight for the top-shelf, expensive bottle.
