Will The Satellite Radio Merger Allow for a Pearl Jam station?

edited July 2008 in The Porch
When two companies merge, on the surface you think of cutbacks. But in this case, if they offer A La Carte programming, they may create diversified channels to offer all subscribers. I think it's plausible a PJ radio channel may be created down the road.

I let my SIRIUS subscription expire, but would renew in a heartbeat if there were a PJ station. Just imagine the possibilities!

    Lithium is Sirius

On XM, you have Lucy= Lithium. Also, Ethel plays alot of PJ. This morning I got Dissident on Lucy then Porch on Ethel back to back; it was great.

My best friend has a show on Sirius 123 during the mornings. He does the college sports stuff through Rivals.com. He says that the major increase in programming will be seen within the traditional AM programming. There will be more sports and more talk. So I wouldn't get overly excited about the PJ possibilities. Sorry to be a buzzkill.
