    Ed's a baseball fan in general. I'm sure the Cubs are still his #1 team.

    I'm an avid Phils fan and I love the Red Sox too, but that's because I'm from Massachusetts.

    It's possible to support two teams or even more - it's what happens when they face each other where the dilemma comes in.

    I've been a lifelong Cubbies fan but lived so close to Detroit for much of my life that I cheer for the Tigers too

    Tigers are my American League team

    Cubs are my National League team.

    If they were to play in the World series I'd pick the Cubs hands down.

    I should actually hate Detroit as they were the last team the Cubs played in the World Series....It's where this whole fucking curse started in the first place.

    Jason Bay is a Pearl Jam fan and was at the Pittsburgh show that Eddie told everybody to vote for Bay for All-Star.

    My guess on why Eddie has a soft spot for the Red Sox is that he is friends with Theo Epstein (the General Manager). Epstein also has a band that I believe Eddie did a cameo with once (or maybe more).

    Calm down Red Sox fans...

    If you listen to the boot from the Pittsburgh show being mentioned in the article, Ed makes a joke and says he's not going to talk about the election. Instead he just says its important to vote and references voting for Bay for the all-star team. He was just making a subtle reference to remind people to vote in the next election.

    Sheesh... you Red Sox fans need to get over yourselves.

    I can't imagine how insufferable you'd be if you won 26 World Championships!
