man decapitates himself with 4WD WTF!!!

An US man has decapitated himself after getting into a domestic argument.

On Wednesday the 46-year-old father of two set a trailer carrying his belongings on fire before trying a wire cable to a tree, attaching it to his neck and driving away from the tree at high speed, ABCNews.com reports.

Police and firefighters responded to a domestic dispute at Willow Lakes housing development in Yorktown, Virginia, where they found the man in a Ford Explorer 4WD towing a trailer that was on fire.

Firefighters asked the man to get out of the car when one of them noticed the wire cable attached to the man's neck that had been looped through the back window of the 4WD and attached to a tree three metres away.

York County Sheriff Danny Diggs said the man refused to get out of his 4WD and had been difficult with emergency personal trying to help him.

"They tried to convince him to get out. He then accelerated the vehicle, which pulled him out of the vehicle and decapitated him," Sheriff Diggs said.

"This is one of the most bizarre cases that any of us had ever seen or heard of."

The man's car continued driverless for 150m down the road.

Authorities said the man had recently moved from Chicago to try to repatch things with his estranged wife and daughter and son, but things did not work out.

    oddly enough this form of taking one's life is not completely unheard of. it has been done before so i was told some 10 years ago or so. dude wrapped a rope around himself and a massive tree, got into his truck and drove off in a blind fury.
