Sailboat in a Hurricane (really a tropical storm)

Amazing. This sailboat at our marina breaks free from its mooring during Hurricane Irene (which was Tropical Storm Irene).

Blows across the mooring field, passing multiple moored boats, manages not to sustain (or inflict) any significant damage.

There's nobody on the sailboat.

My boat, with me and Mr. Unlost aboard, can't even make it into Salem Harbor in flat calm seas without hitting a rock and ending the season.

*sigh*

    so when you get the boat back from the shop, you and mr unlost stay home and let the boat go for a cruise :thumbup:
