    When I renewed my membership in July I was short of cash, so I went digital. Seemed a good idea at the time!

    I didn't get a holiday single last year did I? I don't believe so - so will I be getting this one, or do some of us go a year or more without getting anything?


    edit - sorry I see there is some discussion of this above - missed that! Do we know the answer?

    Yep, so the analog/digital thing doesn't apply yet does it?

    You are correct. The analog/digital thing takes place when people renew or sign up for calendar year 2011. Seeing as this is 2010, all members (as of whatever magical date in 2010), should be getting the hard copy of Deep and 7" single.

    Analog/digital takes effect in 2011, which most likely means the record and magazine we receive in 2012. The last record we got was the Hawaii '78 disc, which was for 2009, but received in 2010.

    Any guesses as to the songs? The likely candidates seem like live versions of Ed's uke stuff or a demo of a new song.

    Thanks - makes sense! I don't have a clue about what could be on there. I always enjoy the new songs more than the live versions - there have been some gems over the years. So I hope it's something unfamiliar

    You got one last year. "Turning Mist & Hawaii '78". You should still get the vinyl that is shipping this week.

    Since you went digital in July that is for next years record.

    TIM said they went deep in the vaults for the single, so it will probably have a pj20 theme

    (I love how they're perpetually behind things, yet the band seems to be cranking out music all the time. Just throw two songs on a vinyl and you're good.)

    Actually, I wonder...since the move to analog/digital means fewer records, will they be a bit more "on time" as in shipping things out in March or April?
