    I love this app! Outstanding!

I love the part with the trophies and how it keeps track of how many songs you've heard live from each album :)

But its tough that the only song I need to complete Yield is red dot  Some of the other songs from Vitalogy are killers too.

Hey - back on the Yield tour they used Red Dot as the into music... does that count? :D

Any song they haven't played (Red Dot, Aye Davanita, etc) won't count against you getting the album trophy, at least. The Vitalogy trophy is next to impossible to get, as you had to be at both the last Philly Spectrum show and the 95 Melbourne show where they tagged Stupid Mop.

Great update. This app does a terrific job of rendering the forum website. Much better than the official app which I paid for. It scrolls responsively, resizes without lagging, and is responsive and fast. My only gripe is that the rendered webpage occupies such a limited portion of the screen (with all of the other app specific touch targets). Would there be any way to minimize the other on screen controls while the webpage is onscreen?

Also, I love the "Call Me a Dog" trophy. I was wondering if you were going to add a TOTD trophy, but it looks like this one is for being at PJ20 at Alpine Valley (and is named after the TOTD song).

Maybe you already have some of these and I just haven't unlocked them, but here are some other trophy ideas that occurred to me:
    1. For seeing TOTD live!
    2. For seeing the live premiere of a previously unplayed catalog song
    3. For seeing the live premiere of an unreleased song
    4. For seeing PJ in different decades (eg: the 90's, 00's, and 10's)
    5. For seeing x# of different opening bands
    6. For seeing x# of different opening songs
    7. For seeing a band member other than eV sing lead vocals on a song (eg: Mankind, DGNL, Sweet Lew, Black Diamond)
    8. For the longest version of a song to date or a song over x# of minutes long (the standard long ones: Rearviewmirror, Porch, RITFW, Alive, Yellow Ledbetter)
    9. For seeing different drummers live
    10. For seeing x# of different cover songs live

Great work on this! Can't wait to see it developed further!

That's a good idea. I feel the same thing. I'll work on incorporating that in a future update. I know some of the other browsers you can download (Atomic Web, for one) have a full screen button that you just tap, and it takes the webpage full screen...I'll see if I can't cop some code somewhere and make that happen sooner rather than later.

Many thanks for the updates and in particular the forum access.

Out of curiosity, why are you not able to read forum messages on the latest ipod touch when accessing the forum through pearl jam's website unless posts have been quoted ?

Toronto both nights was awesome.....Hamilton should be great.

That's because the mobile version of the forum site has a clear background, so you can see the brain in the background of the official app. The effect of this, however, makes the mobile version unusable when just browsing through Safari because the default background color is white, which is the same as the text. You can see the quoted text because the quote is placed in a little black box, so it has a background. I hope that makes sense!

Hmmm... my stats show Yield as 92% complete with Red Dot as the only song left to hear.

But whatever... this app rocks! Thank you again!

What he is saying is you don't have the album 100% because Red Dot has never been played, but if you check your trophy case you should have the Yield Trophy.

I have mine and obviously haven't seen Red Dot..... yet. :D

Yup! You will never have heard 100% of Yield until you hear Red Dot live, since Red Dot is on the album. Pearl Jam's stats also say 92% complete for Yield. You can consider yourself a completist when your completion percentages match theirs...

Awesome app, one suggestion I love after speaking to a friend with the Phish stat tracker app:

They have something called "gap analysis" for each song in each Setlist. This tells you the number of shows that occurred between when a particular song on any given setlist was last played.

This is a great feature because if you are looking back at your shows you can see if they "busted out" a particular song. An example, Breath is no longer a rarity, but I was at 9/11/98 show and it would be cool to see how many shows had passed since it was played in 1994 if I clicked on that particular show.

Also, there's 2 particular websites from the Dave Matthews Band that are stat crazy. I can send them to you if you're interested. I've mentioned them to Ben and he's considering some additions to the Android version of the PJ Stat Tracker based off of some of the stat options etc. The first release won't have anything crazy and will be modeled (with respect to functionality) on Jeff's ipod/phone/pad app's first release. (and we plan to chat with you about some of the planned enhancements, but first things first, getting a first release out!).

We also would like to be brutally clear that there would be no Android version without Jeff's support... We're really just lifting as much of his hard work and wrapping it in android code! :-)
