VIP Boxes at Alpine Valley?
Options
Long story short, I am thinking about biting the bullet and buying a couple of tix in a VIP box for Sunday. These are from a scalper, but I am about to have my first child and this will be my last show for some time. Has anyone every sat in a box at AV, and if so, is it worth the hefty price tag?

just buy 202 row p (12th row)..that is VIP and is the row RIGHT in front of the boxes..it is also elevated unlike the rows before them.. I bought that section myself..not thru a scalper but anyways, on stubhub those are significantly cheaper than the boxes.. the pic below is 202p..last seats in the first section...right behind it are the VIP boxes

Shouldn't those be 10C seats? The only people we should try to get even with...

I think row N is right in front of the VIP boxes...there are no rows A or M. Could P be in the box?
Anyhow, does anyone know if the row N VIP tickets (not in a box) give you access to the Expo Center and/or VIP parking?
Also, is there a space between rows L and N? From the picture it looks like there is.
Sorry OP, I'm going a little off track here. In response to your question, if I were in your situation I'd go VIP or as close as possible without doing the "box" thing. The tickets are going to be way over priced as it is and I don't think box seats add that much value.2006: Boston I, Camden II

The only thing you get extra in the VIP box is a server and extra room
Anyhow, does anyone know if the row N VIP tickets (not in a box) give you access to the Expo Center and/or VIP parking?

did you buy the 2 vip box seats that were just on stubhub for 600? i was thinking about it myself and then saw they were gone. they look like great seats
anyway to answer some questions about the vip seats in front of the vip box, theres a lot of seats that are sold thru the venue as VIP that 10 club has no jurisdiction over. these are being scapled. if they say vip on them, you get the vip entrance and you get to go to the bar, but you dont get to the expo i beleive.
These 2 rows are "N" and "P" one vendor is selling them as row O so that they dont get in trouble for scalping, but its either N or P and theyre like 13th and 14th row but NOT in a box. The boxes have numbers.
theres also seats in other rows behind the box that come w/ vip access. VIP does not always mean its in a box. The boxes are sweet tho. its 4 people per with enough space for 6 r 8, and folding chairs to fold up and have a huge space to rage pj 20'98: Camden 1 '00: JB2 '03: MSG1 '04: Boston 1 '05: AC1

So you think these are likely non-box tickets, despite the description since they say row p?

I DO NOT THINK THOSE ARE IN A BOX
I THINK IF YOU CALLED THEM THEY WOULD SAY "OOPS WE LEFT OUT THE WORD " OF" IN THE PART THAT READS " SEATING IN FRONT (OF) BOX)"" OR SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES. IN FACT IM SURE OF IT GO TO LIVENATION AND USE THE "SELECT YOUR SEAT MAP" YOU WILL CLEARLY SEE THE LAST ROW BEFORE THE BLANK SECTIONS IS ROW P, ALSO THE SECOND ROW OF SECTION 202. THIS IS A VIP ACCESS SEAT BUT NOT A BOX. THE ONES ON STUBHUB OR ANYWHERE WILL SAY "VIP CENTER BOX"
