Thoughts on this silly idea...

I am staying in Lake Geneva and have a rental car.

My crew does not really want to go to AV early (They are the 4-5p type of guys) I sort of want to get my poster and tix, and take a peak around...

How bad do you think it will be to drive to AV early on Saturday to do the things I want to do, and LEAVE the venue only to take a shuttle back to the venue later in the day.

1. I know this totally stupid.
2. Do you think I will be able to do the reverse commute back to Lake Geneva easily.
3. Assume I am taking local roads and avoiding the highway.
4. Also assume I am not leaving a car at the venue because of my inability to drink and drive, and there is not a designated driver in my group (would probably be me anyway!)

    You can't enter the venue, leave and re-enter. Once you are in, you are in. You can do anything you want outside the venue. I'd have to thing leaving the lots would be a chore since everyone will be coming in at different times but yes it is possible.

    If you are talking about the outside merch tent and the parking lot. i think it sounds like an awesome idea.

    go back to hotel shower up and have a few cold ones, etc.

    I am debating doing the same thing. Staying in Lake Geneva with a rental car, don't have plans Saturday morning so am considering driving over to check out and buy some merchandise, leave it safely in the hotel, then take the shuttle over to the venue that night.

    Only question we'd have to pay for parking to do this right? Any idea on the cost?
