are you aware the Ed Vedder and Shirley Strachan (Skyhooks) happen to both have things in common? Shirl was a surfer. Ed was/is a surfer. They both were gifted with incredible voices. Shirl passed away in 2001. I never got to meet him. I someday want to meet PJ.

    I can only speak for myself and imo it's a bit difficult to see where you're going with this. Don't know this Shirley Strachan, but I can't really see they have much in common. He's dead, Ed's not.
    But hey, if the purpose of the post was to declare your love of Ed's voice, then I can only agree.

    there is nothing like it. I have been listening to PJ's cover of the Who's Love Reign O'er Me and it's brilliant. Never heard passion like that in a band cover. Totally blew me away.

    but I love classic rock. Ed Vedder and Graeme "Shirley" Strachan - both surfers with incredible singing voices. I just found that interesting. I wasn't really going anywhere with it, though.
