I'm blown away. Chris is back! His voice sounds unbelievable and those lyrics.

"Beauty and truth collide where love meets genocide. Where laughter meets fear. Confusion all around as I try to feed these mouths that have never known singing"

"And before I let one more tear hit the ground. I will be the one standing between you and the sound of the rounds. Echoing out, out of the dark. The smoke and the spark, aimed at the heart of the flame. I am the keeper."

Let's hope he brings it like this on the new Soundgarden album, right now music needs Chris Cornell at his best, and this is the best he's sounded in a long time.

voice is great, song is just "ok".
I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.

Yeah, I like it. At first listening I was sort of waiting for the full-on belting to begin, but I like how he restrains himself throughout the song. No need to go three octave on every song.

Apparently this was recorded with Alain Johannes, with whom he also recorded Euphoria Morning. Good combination still.
