    I saw on Facebook a picture of Dave (which I posted in the FF thread) and said see you at the VMA. That's why I was wondering if they were performing or not.

    Actually, it never was very good. It's always been geared towards pop. Pearl Jam was only on there because alternative became mainstream for a period.

    i was actually kinda enjoying the VMA's until the last 15 mins. or so. Bruno Mars doing "Valerie" was nice but that was even a Amy Winehouse song (yeah she made it popular, but it wasn't an original song). Katy Perry winning video of the year and Lil Wayne's performance sucked. :roll: Couldn't tell what he was "rapping" about since half of it was censored.

    Gaga falling and nearly killing herself was a highlight for me. They did a pretty good job of editing it out but if you go back and look when she gets down from the piano she takes a hard fall... then they show her getting up slowly. I don't see the talent in her. She's no Madonna. She's isn't any different than the Club Kids that used to hang out in the NYC clubs... wear a different, shocking, in-your-face outfit every night. I think she was totally creepy tonight and even the other celebs there didn't know what to make of her. She's also naturally more masculine than feminine.
