Gimmie the beat, boys

Hello everyone,
So, I'm not a very active member of the board, but I had an idea and a couple of my PJ friends suggested I share that idea here...
Every time I hear "Drift Away," by Dobie Gray, I think of Pearl Jam. So I thought, wouldn't it be cool if the audience could sing a bit of it TO them during PJ20. Either just the chorus, or the entire part I posted below... I was thinking right as they come back from the 1st encore break Sunday night.
Does anyone else agree that this would be kind of cool? And do you think it's possible to pull this off?
Just an idea. And if I'm a super-nerd and this sounds dumb to you all, I can accept that.

Thanks for the joy that you've given me
I want you to know I believe in your song
And rhythm and rhyme and harmony
You help me along
Makin' me strong
Oh, give me the beat boys and free my soul
I wanna get lost in your rock n roll
And drift away
Give me the beat boys and free my soul
I wanna get lost in your rock n roll
And drift away

Good times going bad while eating an ice cream cone. Should have never gone for that second scoop. Crazy ass Mitch!
LOL! I wasn't ever into Dawson's Creek, but that was a terrible way to kill a character.
So I think I'll make some flyers or something to hand out Sunday night. If it works, awesome. If not, at least I tried. :?
