As a Twins fan, I want to puke. Not only at this trade (which is definitely a better place for Thome and a decent thing for the Twins for the future), but the ghastly season this club has put its fans through.

To Jim Thome,

We, as Twins fans, loved you while we had you. Congratulations on 600. You are a class act. You deserve to be a first ballot Hall of Fame inductee. I for one will be hoping the Indians catch the Tigers. Go Thome!

Jim Thome is the last player playing in the big leagues that I saw while he played in the minors.

I lived in London from 1989 on when London has the Detroit Tigers Double AA team, and he was with the Indians AA team
