So... putting your foot in it....

So yesterday I got done a beauty...

I am studying teaching, and part of the course is a P.E component where we have to do all sorts of things including dance...

SO our tutor is showing us things we can do with kids, and starts playing some Aboriginal music. SO we're all having to dance (which is hard, cause I normally only ever dance after about 12 beers)... and the teacher says now do mimic some native animals with the tune....

So my friend does a cockatoo... with one hand as the yellow feathers on her head, and one arm as a wing...

The teacher says 'so what type of animals did we have?'

People are yelling out, 'Kangaroo', 'Koala' and I yelled out laughingly 'we had a one armed cockatoo'... and indicated it would just be flying around in circles....

As soon as I said that I was like 'oh shit' cause we have a girl with one arm in our class and she was sitting out for the lesson... I felt so bad...

And she said 'you know just because it has one arm doesn't make it bad' or something like that... I felt horrible... I did not mean it like that...

Any good foot in mouth stories?

  • That's a rat fuck thing to do.
Next time you need to mimic an animal, choose a rat.
