Recorded 30 years ago while Marley was touring in support of his album Uprising, Live Forever is Bob Marley's last recorded concert. This never before released audio collection offers an incredible snapshot of one of music's most influential performers.

Bob Marley & The Wailers - Live Forever: The Stanley Theatre, Pittsburgh, PA, September 23, 2010 is a 2CD/3LP/digital collection that features many of Bob's most cherished songs, and is now available.

This unforgettable concert contains unique performances of "No Woman No Cry," "Jammin'," and "Is This Love," to name a few, and depicts a musical innovator and inspiration to people of many cultures and generations. This spectacular audio documentary Live Forever, also immortalizes the last song Marley ever performed live in concert: "Get Up Stand Up," his rally cry for equality.

You know I'm not sure when it was released but it seems one can get it off Amazon.com at the moment and have it sent to you in a few days new or used. I got an email from Marley updates and was immediately interested. The concert was recorded 9/23/1980 either way I want it by this weekend just to watch hurricane Irene pass us by down here in FL.

  • nice to have official version of this show...as boots have been around for a long time of this show

the last 2 songs on this cd are from the show but from another source(not sbd)...seems that tape ran out that night so the whole show did not get recorded in sbd...luckily a back up audience tape was rolling!

i've owned this cd for a couple of months now. definitely a must have if u still LOVE bob
