Good vibes for my frog Franklin....he's got a broken leg

My White Lipped Tree Frog Franklin lives in my bathroom and comes and goes as he pleases....until my Boxer tried to 'play' with him two nights ago....and broke his back right leg and grazed him up pretty badly.

He's just had surgery today and they've put a little pin in his leg. Franklin is with a carer tonight and should be allowed to come home to us if he recovers okay over the next couple of days.

When he comes home, he'll probably have to live in my lounge room in an aquarium....I might have to find him a mate so he's not lonely. They can live up to 20 years in captivity! Damn I love frogs.

Anyway, Franklin needs your good vibes....I don't want him to die or have a bad leg and want him back home!

    what is greatness is ziggy got him ironed out after the accident. i am surely positive that most folkswould not have took him to the tree frog doctor. i think poor ol' franklin would have been screwed.

    Thanks guys! :thumbup: It was heartbreaking to walk out and see him all screwed up from my Boxer....then we picked him up and his leg was all wonky and upon further investigation, I could see his little bone where it had broken off and was jabbing into his skin. Luckily the bone didn't puncture the skin. I was so glad when the vet said they could pin his leg and he should recover....little Franklin....so cute!
