Only Rain Dance Maggie, don't mind it
  • I like what I hear so far, their new guitarist (age 31) says in the new rolling stone that he was way into pearl jam and the peppers growing up.

  • I laugh when i hear the cowbell at the end of "Maggie", cuz chad smith looks so much like Will Ferrell.

Don't think they'll ever be the same since Johnny left. He was/is amazing. "By The Way" and the "Stadium" records are unreal.

he is one of THE best guitarists I have ever seen... I think its time for him and mccready to get together for an album akin to one of Frusciantes solo albums.... :)

Haven't listened to it yet (except Maggie, which I like although it's nothing new), I guess I'll wait until the CD gets here in a week or so... Looking forward to it!

RHCP are another of those bands that lost their way along time ago. They've gone far too mainstream and like U2 have completely sold out and ,in my opinion, musically have lost all integrity. Blood Sugar Sex Magik and One Hot Minute (my favourite of theirs) are truly amazing albums and Californication is pretty good too. Can't stand the single anymore cos it got played too much though.

By The Way was ok but Stadium Arcadium was dreadful.

Heard the new single over the weekend and thought they've done alot better but they've also done alot worse!

  • I'm interested in it. Except for a few songs I did not like Stadium Arcadium. I thought it was too radio-based and I didn't like the production. This new album is a little more interesting but I stopped being a huge fan once By the Way hit.

So since they don't make music you like anymore they've sold out?? I think it would be more of a sellout to try to peddle music that they don't feel.

Least they didn't sign a distribution deal with Target.

I love the Chili Peppers... a great band.
One Hot Minute and By The Way are their best albums.
I will miss John, but I have faith in Josh.
