oh what has pearl jam done to me?

haha so this morning I had an appointment to get my wisdom teeth out and I was under general anesthesia. When i woke up, all the people were like "wake up!" and one of hte assistants gave me a notepad and told me to write how i feel. so i wrote "I saw Pearl Jam."

:) She laughed and walked away. I thought it was funny.

    I have to go to the dentist tomorrow afternoon- to get two cavities filled!!!!! :(

    Uh oh! Good luck! My mouth is going crazy... and I got stitches in my tongue. Hope you feel better than I do! Eek.

    I actually have an appointment this monday to get my wisdom teeth taken out, hopefully I'll also see pearl jam.

    I'm only going to be on local anesthesia, so I'll probably have a lot of songs going on in my head while they're operating, lol.

    I leave Sept 18 (UChicago starts late), what about you?

    Haha, after I saw the movie Awake I wanted to be completely knocked out. That ISSSS really late. I leave on Sunday and I start the day after Labor Day... so it's basically like my high school. Do you get out in May?

    I wanted to be knocked out too, but I also need to keep working- apparently if you're sedated then you're out of it for days (according to my brother, but he's full of shit half the time so I don't know why I'm taking his word on this...) wow, you leave sunday? must be exciting. considering I don't leave for another month, let alone start school until sept 29, I'm not really anticipating much yet, lol. I get out mid-June, I think.

    I don't feel that out of it, actually. I mean a little more tired than usual but not too bad. I'm sort of excited, but i'll miss my bed. I'm going to Marymount Manhattan College. It's a really small liberal arts school. They've been kind of unorganized with the whole getting freshman ready for college situation, and it's getting kind of frustrating. I definitely don't want to stay there for all four years, so i'm looking into NYU, Seattle U, and a few schools in San Francisco. Mid-June is late! But you'll be in Chicago so that'll be tons and tons of fun. I've never been but my dad works there during the week and he really likes it. :)

    liberal arts schools are very cool- congratulations. NYU is also excellent. you should definitely look into some schools in chicago though :D

    and yeah, I'm hoping that Chicago will be fun. haven't visited it in 10 years or something though. I think UofC gets longer breaks than usual though, so hopefully that'll make up for finishing late. :D

    OH, don't even get me started on breaks. I get like, a week and a half for winter. What the heeeeellll? I keep begging my dad to take me to Chicago with him! I'm sure i'd fall in love with it.

    I'm an oral surgeon, and a few years ago, I used to blast PJ while I was removing wisdom teeth and people were under anesthesia. Unfortunately, I liked songs like Lukin and Brain of JFK, so some of the patients would get a little bit crazy under anesthesia, and move a round a lot. the assistants asked me to stop, and I agreed!
