My wife just called me and said she picked up a crateful of vinyl around the corner of the house sitting on the curb. I asked what was in there and she said she didn't have time to look through them but the first 5 or 6 were Beatles albums and the covers looked to be in great shape. She said there were about 50 or so records in the crate. Is it 2pm yet cause I can't leave work till then. The excitement is killing me.

Both Greatest Hits 62-66 and 67-70, Revolver, Help, and Let it Be. Also got Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, Jim Croce, Billy Joel, Wings, The Doobie Brothers, Bob Seger, Chicago, The Bee Gees, Elton John, Kenny Rogers, Carly SImon, Simon and Garfunkel, America, Crosby Stills, and Nash, The Animal House Soundtrack, and a few others. Most of the artists listed above had more than one album in the crate. If I had gotten these at a local used record store this would have easily been a $75-100 trip. The records themselves seem to be in great shape and were taken care of. My wife says they were wedged between two trash barrels. She beat the trash truck by about 30 min. Sweet find I might say.

Awesome find! Are the Help and Revolver the US or British release?

US Releases. They would be in better shape if they were kept in their paper sleeves. But I guess that's why they were at the curb. Still look pretty good though minus the scuffs. Haven't had a chance to toss them on the platter yet.

That's cool. You should get them cleaned before you play them.
