Can't upload GIF images for avatar/signature!

Hey! I know I'm not the only one who's been having this issue but I've got a great GIF that I've been trying dozens of times to upload to my profile, I've made sure it's within the requirements but it's still not working.

    Are you posting an <a> tag into signature box or uploading for your Profile Avatar? How big is file?

    only time i ever got a PM from a mod was about a gif in my sig. Said i was slowing down the thread and told me to get rid of it. :? :cry:
