PJ20 Special Guest announcment Monday??

there's a youtube trailer I don't have handy but there's chatter...just sayin'... 8-)

I'd love RHCP, Foos, AIC or SG...

    Weird Al.. its the only performer that makes sense..

    There has been some facebook chatter regarding a announcement of some sort coming on monday.. guess we'll have to wait and see..

    Agreed - only way you fit another special guest in is to take away from everyone else, which seems like a problem at this point.

    And as much as everyone loves Neil... I really hope the PJ set is almost entirely just PJ... just like the Philly shows --- all PJ = better than a bunch of special guests sucking up time in the encores. :)

    I don't know where Weird Al fits to the PJ20 picture. Just cause he wrote a funny hit song about him & voiced over their wicked Jeremy video he'll be there? :shock:

    Sorry, guess the sarcasm didn't come through on that one. It was in response to Al's twitter that Eddie is coming out with a new album that will be record using only a jaw harp, or something of that nature...

    It has to be Chris Cornell. It would be an injustice to not have him there since he's so tied to the band (aka Temple of the Dog)...

    It would make sense to announce one more addition to sell out the shows. I'd love a warmup show in Chicago, but any news is good news with two weeks left!

    Maybe Neil would do an Encores worth of songs on the other..... Mirror ball and other Neil gems

    That would be fantastic and wouldn't need a time slot

    If the members of Pearl Jam could ask any special guests they wanted, to join in for a couple of songs (like The Last Waltz) during epic 3 1/2 hour sets (why not?), who would they pick?

    You do realize that RHCP played a major role in formation of Pearl Jam, and was a strong early influence on Ed, correct? If there was no RHCP, it's pretty safe to say there'd be no PJ.
