Says the guy who betrayed the city of Seattle and sold the Sonics to Oklahoma City.

I agree with him on this ... but also remember that this guy is a dick.

    Starbucks is a total fake.

If you walk into any coffee shop in Italy and ask for a Cafe mocha, or a Frappuchino, they'll have no idea what you're on about.

The first time I went out west and walked into a starbucks for a coffee, I had to study their menu like it was written in Egyptian hieroglyphics. I had problems communicating my order because the person behind the counter wasn't sure what "large coffee" meant.

"Do you mean venti or grande Americano?" No, I meant large-o coffee-o, black-o as the night-i sky-e-o.

I'm not a coffee guyl, and the first time I went to a Starbucks years ago, there was one right beside my bank. I had to run to the bank before lunch, and a co-worker friend asked me to grab her a coffee. I felt like a retard ordering it. And the clerk's arrogance made the experience that much worse. You can keep your overpriced coffee, and shitty attitude Starbucks along with your campaign donations.

this aint about how good or bad their coffee is or how over priced it is...it's about someone doing something to shake the boat a little and sitting on campaign money might do that but I'm sure there are altierrier motives for all the business involved.

I think we all know that candidates do many things to keep the campaign contributions coming in. Money is always the great motivator. The only problem with his plan is that what constitutes compromise? what is it that the government needs to do to ensure the flow of contributions returning? That is the problem i see with this.

I hate what Howard did to the Sonics, but still love the coffee, and it's the de facto hang out spot in my neighborhood.

This is a cool move, we'll see where it goes.

yea but great advertising for Starbucks and the other business' that get a little press out of this
if their game plays out well their stocks should jump....maybe it would be worth investing a few bucks in one of these companys just to see if it does work out for them...who knows you might make a Starbuck or two on their idea.:lol:

I still don't get why companies are allowed to contribute to elections. Just like I don't know why we have lobbyists. Also I don't like how newspapers endorse candidates. But I do like turtles.
