This year I have finally gottin into tour posters. People are right when they say how easy it is to keep buying more and more. I oriinally just wanted to buy the sahows that I webt to, but now I find myself buying shows I didn't attend. I love it though!!!!!! Never understoood before, but now I totally get it. I'm gonna be framing some myself this weekend to give it a try. I don't think that it will be that hard. Do alot of people do this? From what i have seen people were saying 200 framed, I think it would be cool to frame your own, it s PJ related to I know I will being paying attention to deatail when I'm framing them. I have some general question.

Questions
Where is a good place to get the materials? I have heard Michael's.
Any general sugestions? thanx
This too shall pass.....

  • It depends, whether you want custom framing or el cheapo framing. I'm not sure if you have a Hobby Lobby around, but you can get custom framing there from time to time for 50% off. I've got a 2006 Hampton Uncut Special Edition CCFA Melbourne poster that is HUGE (37" x 29.5"), and I picked up a frame for it from Hobby Lobby for almost $100, but I ordered it during their 50% off sale. It's a wood frame & looks SWEET, plus w/custom framing, you insure a perfect fit. But I also had my Hampton 'Visage' poster (16" x 25") framed at the same time for $48.00. A lot depends on the size, but figure on spending from $100 - $200 or more for custom framing. Or your other option is Wal-Mart frames, which you can pick up for around $10-$20 bucks. I keep my 'not-so-expensive' posters in these. Hope that helps!

i just framed my first poster. Got all the supplies from Americanframe.com. They make it easy to order. you can use a picture of the poster and fit frames and mats so you can see what it will look like before you order. I got my supplies for a total of about $90. With no experience, framing it myself took about a half hour (or less)

If you're talking about my first movie, then it's a shame you've only just recently seen it, but better late than never.

As for my latest action, I'm still traveling the world at the age of 61, killing people with machetes and kicking ass.

    thanks for the compliment, though.
  • Do you still want to trade your Dussledorf poster for my ITW vinly? Later Yostarama
