Deadly lookin... I'm the process of doing the same myself...not as. Many shows as ya..... Quick question did you get them done professionally or DIY?

Agreed. If you did some DIY here, what brand and where did you get the frames/materials? I have a backlog I need to get framed, and DIY would certainly help the bank account.

Hey how are ya?.....Yes I did them all myself to be honest. Took a long time and a lot of patience but got there!!!
I bought black framers card from Warehouse Stationary, a small paper guillotine to make sure all the edges were super straight and all the frames from The Warehouse. The Warehouse is a new zealand company. I guess like a kmart or wallmart???.....They do low cost budget frames and then ones that are much better quality that are about 1/3rd more expensive but still incredibly cheap compared to getting them professionally done. I had to travel far and wide through the Warehouse stores to get the sizes I needed for each poster. Especially the dyptych soto and the huge Australian 2006 Tour Wave poster which are basically double the size of a standard poster.

I usually just try to leave a small black border using the card, right around the poster, then I stick the poster down with velcro dots (do you know these little buggers, very handy)....the reason I use these is, it took me a few goes to get the posters centered bang on and the tickets etc so the whole poster is easy to move with the velcro dots.

To be honest, the posters catch everyones eye, no-ones looking at the backgrounds. Hope this helps.

The frames are black plastic but the posters are gold!!!!!
