I'm really not that happy about it, but I'll eventually get it anyway.

It feels like another mish mash live set with some demos thrown in the middle. I'm definitely looking forward to hearing some of those demos!

But I have no doubt that I'll get it and enjoy the occasional outbreak.

You have to remember that this is a soundtrack to accompany a story being told. If this band is known for touring like nobody else, it makes sense that there would be some live songs.

If you wanted a CD full of rare and demo stuff, it wouldn't go very well with telling the story of Pearl Jam.

they should release the full show that each track on the soundtrack comes from, at least to the 10C.

Yeah, you guys are probably right... about 33% looks exciting.
Any idea what "Need To Know" or "Be Like Mike" are? Those are the only tracks I don't think I've heard in any form before.

This. It's a companion piece to a movie. It has to make sense with the film.

There's a reason there were no happy, sappy love songs on Into The Wild.

i am excited for all of it. sure, some of the live versions will be things we already have (2000 and after boots), but even those will be mixed in better quality. pre2000 live stuff will be sweet to have, as will the unreleased and demo stuff. count me as happy :D

Someone said they didn't know what "Need To Know" was.

I believe that was the demo of The Fixer Matt played on PJ Radio's AET a few months back. I could be wrong though.

Honestly, I'm actually very happy with the soundtrack and excited to hear how it all flows together. I'm actually surprised people here were hoping for or expecting a type of Lost Dogs 2. This is a soundtrack to a documentary on Pearl Jam's career...not a soundtrack of Pearl Jam's vault. I honestly just expected live songs with a few random demos, but I'm very happy with the selection. Just wish Puzzles and Games was on it...only complaint! :P
