Shout out to Cat Power. Her song Good Woman is very powerful, and Ed's baritone lines the track well. Amazing song! That entire album, You Are Free, is a great record. I highly recommend it.

anyone else, when listening to "tonight you belong to me", think they both sang what should have been the other person's part? i like it as-is, but i think that every single time.

Weird... I listed to You are Free today for the first time in a while.

While I think Good Woman is the best song on the album, Maybe Not is definitely my favorite. Great album top to bottom.

What a spectacular voice- so unique and just beautiful! I'd love to see her live!

Maybe Not is also my favorite on that album.

I'm more of a mid-90's terribly toned and shoddy guitar playing Cat Power fan, though.

It's funny how there are two different Cat Power's. I'm more partial to her more, uh, refined stuff I guess I would say... but overall, I think she's a great songwriter and is really unique in her own right.

Moon Pix is the first album I ever heard by her.
