    His books are funny as fuck. I tried reading Brain Droppings on a plane once and I was absolutely dying. I made a scene, I was laughing so hard.

    He's not only the best ever, he's also one of the best socio-political commentators ever IMO....you could always count on George to cut thru the bullshit, without fail.

    I heard his Toledo Windowbox album as a young teen, one of the first times I uh...altered my consciousness...and have been a huge fan ever since. Not seeing him on his final tour, just a couple months before he died, is a huge regret for me :(

    There are comedians out there who have me in stitches for almost their entire routine...but none of them make me want to jump up and cheer after they finish a bit, the way Carlin did. He just nails every topic. I'm sure ALL of the other comedians on my 'top 10 list' would list him as a huge influence.
