London riots: thugs filmed robbing injured, bleeding boy
A video appearing to show masked thugs robbing an injured and defenceless boy during the recent riots has been posted online.
After helping up the boy, the thug, together with another man, unzip the distracted youngster’s backpack and begin stealing his belongings.
A third masked youth then arrives on a bicycle and tries to steal items from the injured boy’s bag while a fourth man, wearing a black baseball cap, walks up behind the boy and grabs what he can from the backpack before strolling off.
At least a dozen youths watch on doing nothing while the robbery takes place.

One good souvenir deserves another?
That's apparently how this young, shaggy-haired San Francisco Giants fan felt after deftly wrangling a ball off the bat of Pittsburgh's Ryan Doumit(notes) on Tuesday night. After getting control of the ball, he quickly handed it over to an older man in front of him. The boy's family and fans around him greeted the move with a lot of smiles and applause.

I just came across these two articles right after one another and found the contrasting nature of the two vids interesting.

keep your chin up and look at the positives in life.... I know sometimes it hard... but push on through.

Those 'people' who stole from that kid, heartbreaking, They help him up, poor child, broken jaw, dazed, when the boy is at his weakest, they take from him. I know how it feels to be knocked down like that, when it happens, it feels like you lose 90% of your energy, can hardly even get up. I bet all that kid wanted was someone to just lend a hand and help him back home, to his family.
I tell you brotha, we are capable of so much good, and so much destruction.
I agree.
