It's a Tom Waits original from the album Bone Machine (1992)! "I Don't Wanna Grow Up" was covered by The Ramones for their last album, Adios Amigos, by Petra Haden and Bill Frisell on their album collaboration Petra Haden & Bill Frisell (2003), with a recent version on Hayes Carll's Trouble In Mind (2008), and by Scarlett Johansson on her debut album, Anywhere I Lay My Head (2008).

  • Just to let ye know, there's the world's only official Ramones museum in Berlin, Germany. It has over 500 artefacts in it (mostly donated by Johnny, I think), and it's only 3 Euro's in. It has a coffee shop in it, too. It is magic. And photography is allowed!

That's pretty cool! I'll have to make a note of that if I ever find myself on vacation in Germany.

Anyway, this is a cool give away! I have to say, I'd love to hear Pet Cemetery. It's the first Steven King book I ever read, and it's a cool song!
(Runner up, has to be Beat on the Brat.)
  • Thanks for all the responses so far! Has put me in the mood to listen to some ramones tonight!! It's been way too long since I last heard them!!

    and he's still strong
nothing's changed, but the surrounding bullshit that has grown
    and now he's home
and we're laughing like we always did

sounds great! Maybe get the chance to check it out next pj euro tour! But hey what's the ramones cover you'd like the most? Ya gotta be in it to win it!!
I'm good thanks mate. I've got an original CBGB t-shirt from when I visited there in 2002, so I'm good for a Ramones-related t-shirt, and I purchased the Raw DVD when it was first released. Thanks for thinking of me, but I'd love someone else to take this very generous offer!

KKK Took My Baby Away. Again. I know they played it once with Johnny Ramone (I think) in '98. Great harmony from Ed.
