    i can get the fan to blow, but the AC won't kick on. for some reason, the board blew it's on board fuse. replaced that one and it blew again as soon as i turned the power back on. tossed in the old board i had from the last time i had to replace it. it will kick on the fan, but not the AC unit.

    in the winter time, i wouldn't open the gas valve. it would just cycle the lighter over and over. i don't even bother putting the cover on it anymore as often as i have to take it off.

    it's not a big deal, as the weather has improved. couple of weeks ago i would have been ready to chuck it out the window.

    Can you put in a higher amp fuse? The ipod adapter would blow the lighter fuse in the car all the time, so we switched the 15 amp to a 20 amp and haven't had any issues.

    i'm pretty sure, i don't want to do that. fuses are set at a certain level for a reason.

    i actually had the same problem with an old phone charger. it was always blowing the fuse. turned out the charger was bad. :lol:

    i did put a higher fuse in the board since i burned up all the correct ones :lol:
