    I've read up on things, maybe not as much as I should, but I'm at the point now where I'm completely unsure who is accurate and who is not. I guess that puts me in the middle.

    i wrote my senator saying i was agaist the too big to fail bailout. i wrote that i was agaist the 8K home buyer credit. i wrote that i was agaist the cash for clunkers program

    what did i get? a canned lip service email from a staffer.

    perhaps we should have a national vote on total level of taxes that people think we should collectively pay.

    once that dollar amount is set, and intrest is deducted.

    we can have a second national vote on how to spend those dollars. let people allocate dollars to each department via a slide vote
