Obama blames the haggling in congress and the tea party. He seems to forget the tea party was his doing. Pushing Obama care down Americas throat against to will of the people...
    They are his doing.

Not gone after the growth machine that made this country so strong with the prospect of higher taxes and regulation which in turn made the entrepreneurs dig in and take their toys away from the playground.
That is what I would have done, specifically.
Obama said he wanted to split the pie...
Obama said that the wealthy can afford to pay more taxes
Obama suggested taxing savings to get the money (not his mind you) working.
Last I checked American corporations were flush with over a trillion in cash, on the sidelines, because their is no clarity or leadership.

What kind of Genius goes from a SURPLUS to a deficit? Mr Bush, thats who.
Did it now? I say it started with Reagan. Trickle down my ass. Still waiting for the trickledown. Spend to the hilt, raise the debt ceiling several times, raised taxes many times.

you know Argentina was basically a test case for (ir)rational free market capitalism right? it failed so spectacularly that its economy is still recovering. beautiful country nonetheless.

And the real joke is on the American public... not the politicians, presidents or wall street - fuck all of them.

That none of what is happening today... is tied to what happened in 2007,2008 with the failures of Bear Sterns, Lehmann Brothers, the collapse of the mortgage housing market, toxic asstets, the near end of General Motors and Chrysler, the bailouts of the banking and financial systems? That the foreclosures have nothing to do with the bad loans?

People seem to blame Bush for 9/11.
How long was he in office? When did the terrorists start flight school in south Florida? Not sure, that's why I ask.
  • FiveB247xFiveB247x Posts: 2,330
You're generalizing and I don't know anyone who blames him directly for it. People may question the lack of his administration to take some threats seriously, which is pretty spot on, but with that said, 9-11 occurred because of decades of terrible decisions and inaction by several administrations.

Lastly and more importantly, what's with the tit for tat mentality? What does it accomplish other than scapegoating and blaming others you don't agree with for issues that effect all of us? If all we do is turn everything into a partisan ping pong match, everyone loses. Our nation is already screwed up enough by what the politicians and big business's do, our citizens are just fueling the fire even more nowadays.

People seem to blame Bush for 9/11.

No, it did not start that day in January 2009. It started in 1913 with the start of the Federal Reserve. It continues because the federal government will not audit the Fed and also spends more money than it has.

Using your own logic against you....
Since you think President Obama is responsible for everything from January 20, 2009 to August 8, 2011.... then, YOU must also believe that George W. Bush was responsible for September 11, 2001... right?
