Maybe first 5-10 rows in Europe or Canada or something, but in the U.S. I would guess row 10-20 depending on the venue.

Agreed. It is like guessing if you are going to win the lottery (only you have won you just don't know the prize). Plus, it depends on how many people have lower no. than you at that venue.

these clearly can't be your 10c seats b/c if your number is 158xxx i would have to assume you've been to at least one show in the 10 years you had to have had that number.

and if not, then props to you for paying membership fees all those years and never making to a show!

  • Go to http://www.touringfans.net to get an idea of your tenclub competition. The site tracks tenclubbers using their number to get tickets to shows.

Canada is a big country. 158XXX would get you a hell of a lot closer at a Milwaukee show than it would in say Vancouver, Toronto or Montreal :)

Not true, ALOT of people from Chicago go to ALPINE VALLEY or SUMMERFEST. (IE Milwaukee Show)

Not even close in the States...I'm 182XXX and I'm always within 10 in Canada, but here I tend to be with the first 30/35 rows...

Depends on the city/venue as well, obviously...

Which is true - in places like Boston, NYC and Philly. No question about that.

But I guarantee you that there are a lot of American cities where you'd be sitting closer than you will in Toronto or Vancouver.

Personally, I have been closer in Buffalo, Cleveland & Cincy than I have ever been at a Toronto show.

Toronto is obviously the exception...I thought that went without saying...

I've only been to one Toronto show and I was in the second section of pavillion seating.....not that bad considering it was Toronto....

I'm sure you all that were there remember listening to the soundcheck as we stood in line for 10C tix....

    What a beautiful city....so clean : )

I have number 141xxx and have been in no worse than the third row at any Florida show in the last 10 years or so...

Like the others have said, it is all about the location of the show.

actually, hasn't the number been used only since 2000 for tickets?
and even if not, maybe he lives in Europe, we never use our number here (well, did in Verona but there was like 6 rows in total for 10c so...)
