    Once. Performance #7 (see below). Total surpise to hear that busted out! So glad I was there in person to hear it. Cross another off of the Pearl Jam lifetime live set list. As such, I hope it is not played at PJ20 as I wish to hear something else I haven't heard live yet. However, I have to think this one will make the PJ20 cut for the history of the band sake.

    Just once in Chicago. I remember just absolutely glowing about it and couldn't stop talking about it after the show...some guy behind me said "what was that song, it seemed familiar but I don't know what it's called?" :shock:

    I think it's I will get it to at least five next month and all the zeros on this thread will turn to at least one, the best was the first one in 03, that was such a special time and night, first time I had traveled outside of Philly to see they guys; turns out this band was worth traveling for :D (well maybe just a train ride, 90 minutes doesn't count as traveling on this board as I know I am amongst the best fans in the world who have traveled far greater distances, but since then I have traveled to Boston and Chicago which is still light maybe even feather weight around :D

    i was just thinking about this the other day. it's funny that someone made a post about it. i have been lucky to see Crown of Thorns 8 times and i've taken them all in to the fullest since i know the history and what the song means to the band. here are the shows i heard the classic song:
