With the next season right on our doorsteps, i thought we should have a thread for the upcoming season, starting with the community shield on sunday.

Man utd vs Man city. whats your thoughts.

as a united fan i gotta go with with Man U, but my gut tells me it ain't gonna be easy, and i should prepare myself for the worst :lol:

but i'll stick my neck out and predict 2-1 to United

    man utd dominated first half, to go in 2-0,
    second half, back to 2-2 with 30 mins still remaining....

    Bugger them Mancunians. This weekend is only about Wimbledon returning to the league. Good on 'em. If Fulham's playing away and the Dons are playing down at Kingsmeadow, I may pop down there and cheer them on.

    So the new season kicked off today with some interesting results already, particulary liverpool and arsenal both drawing their games, not a good start.


    So anyway, my hope for this thread is to go on all season long, you can chat about your team whoever it may be, did they have any good summer signing, did they sell their best players, how do you think they'll do this year, whats you wishes for them. etc etc.

    the only one thing i wish for is to keep it clean and decent, no slagging off other teams or player in a nasty way.

    one more thing i wasn't sure about... i can if you want change the threat title, and have it for the whole of europe.
