You would have loved the show i saw last Friday!
    Drivin N Cryin
    Jason Isbell
Futurebirds (great athens band if you are not familar with them. Not nearly as good on their albums as they are live)
    Johnny Cordog

Saw them at the Buckhead theatre here in atlatna it was awesome. Jason came out and played three songs with Driven n Cryin and it was very cool

I knew about that show. That would have been an all-timer for me. Did you like Corndawg? He's a friend of mine.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

    1. Pearl jam
    2. Avenged sevenfold

You are the first person I have seen on this board who appreciates the unmitigated awesomeness of A7X as much as I do. Such a rarity to have that much talent concentrated in one band. Those guys can do it all and do it all well- even across multiple genres of music. Plus, Synyster Gates rules the 'verse. :P

I was familar with his stuff from his brief work w/ Deer Tick and on the Middle Brother album.

First time seeing him live. He was cool. Very fun to see live!

Corndawg is the man! Seen him a few times with Deer Tick, Dawes, Middle Brother, etc. He showed up last weekend in Newport for the Folk Festival to jump on stage with Middle Brother during the set. I spoke with him for a bit after the show and said he drove all night from Atlanta to make it in time. Awesome.
