Im feeling a Philly solo show..

I just have a feeling that some secret Philly solo show will pop up a few days before the tour kicks off...I dont know why I just have this feeling

    i have tickets for Newark...i wouldnt be upset and Im not really looking for it...I just have this weird feeling it will happen..something unannounced until like a few hours before

    I doubt it, i mean why make all us Philly folk pay for shows in other cities ?

    I would be mad that I spent close to $200 on a show in which I have to drive 2-plus hours to get to rather than spend that money in my own backyard.

    Has anyone been to or know anyone who has gone to a show at the Scottish Rite Theatre in Collingswood,NJ? I heard it has amazing acoustics...thought that would be a sweet place to see a show

    they just played Camden. i say return to Saint Louis before playing again on the east cost for the millionth time!!

    That would be awesome if he played there. My parents live right there so I could just walk home afterwards and maybe even have a bbq at my house if that happened. ;)

    Ummm no.. Pontiac Grille is no longer and the place has reopened as JC Dobbs. They have already have had a few live shows there and I believe are still awaiting a liquor license.

    I was down there a few days after the PJ shows in Camden and was hoping the old Dobbs sign was back up, but alas it wasn't. I'll definitely have to stop by for a few drinks when they get their license.

    It was the Pontiac Grill until recently. I believe it's back to being JC Dobbs now. So...I'm told.

    I know that this is all just wishful thinking but if it happens, SOMEONE better tell me :D

    I can't make any of the other shows so . . .

    and Ed's buddy Steve Earle has played at the place in Collingswood.

    I wish he was doing a solo gig in Philly, I still don't understand why not.

    I'm not betting on a Philly show, however, a couple of the radio stations in the area have mentioned Eddie's solo tour and then said something on the lines of "when a Philly date is announced we'll let you know". It's probably just the stations trying to keep Pearl Jam fans listening, but they sounded pretty positive that Eddie was going to add a Philly date.

    And I was wondering why the Pontiac Grill closed, now I know. Man, that would be sick if Eddie popped up there!

    Very cool place. Small, great sound. I saw Blues Traveler there a number of years ago and they sounded great.
