Bands/artists that I would love to see

Here are a few (active) bands and artists that I haven't been lucky enough to see a show of yet (either because they haven't been to my area, or because I couldn't go, or because I was stupid enough to skip them), but would like to one day:

Eddie Vedder
Foo Fighters
R.E.M.
Cake
Soundgarden
Queens of the Stone Age
The Rolling Stones
The Who (if they can be considered "active")
Faith No More
Neil Young
Sonic Youth
Stone Temple Pilots
Mudhoney
Tom Petty
Iron Maiden
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

Especially the first half dozen or so I would really love to see at least once or thrice.

Now, let's see what you've got.

I would love to see Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers too. Why he doesn't want to tour beyond the States is beyond me.

David Bowie (really my only remaining holy grail, and I saw him do five songs at Bridge School, but still....)
Led Zepplin (seen page/plant, seen plant, seen page... but not "Zepplin")
    Kruder & Dorfmeister
Ben Gibbard / Postal Service / Death Cab

that last one might actually happen at upcoming Treasure Island show, but Death Cab at SF Filmore was literally NEVER on sale, sold out in seconds. (And I've seen over 3/4 of your list, but that's the awesomeness that is the bay area ... and that's a very good list!)

And as an aside, at a recent Leo Kottke show, he talked about jamming with Joe Pass, so that is really my unattainable holy grail: Joe Pass & Leo Kottke
    [sic] happens

There's really only 2 bands that I would sell my soul to the devil to see:

    Zeppelin
    Floyd

But getting to reality I'd like to check out:

    RHCP
    Billy Joel (don't judge me)
    Kings of Leon
    Spock's Beard
    Psychedelic Furs

Lucky for me the Furs are coming to Chicago this fall!!

I gotta see Ryan Adams someday

    Me, too! And, Joseph Arthur.
My last message to you ~

You're right. You are a monster! You are sick! Get help!

    At least, I am not a fuck-up! A lying fuck-up!
  • Despite my location I've been extremely lucky to have seen pretty much every band I've wanted to.

But....there's quite a few I would like to see
Soundgarden (a Memphis show would be nice around Dallas, no?)
    Bad Religion
    Ryan Adams
    The Who
    RATM
RHCP (like someone else said...I've kind of lost interest but would still like to see them)
    Gaslight Anthem
    Grace Potter
    The Hold Steady
    JJ Grey
Oasis no longer applies obviously so I'll say Noel Gallagher
    Rise Against
    Ryan Bingham
    Social Distortion
    U2
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

Loved Dead weather at ACL, But if given the chance, see them in a small venue. WOW! :D I was in awe of that Van Morrison cover (Them) of you just can't win" at both shows.

Surprisingly, right now my "bucket list" is complete (after seeing Neil Young in April). But I am sure there will be some amazing bands coming out within the next few years that I will have to check out.
