Apparently there's another "new lead" in the dB Cooper case. Saw something about on CNN about an hour ago and there are online news stories about it now. Man, the fbi is obsessed with solving this case. It's the 40th anniversary this year, so maybe that has something to do with it. Do you guys think it'll ever be solved? Do you think the fbi should spend man hours and resources on this case??

    Yeah - what do you make of it? Do you think she's telling the truth? I have a hard time with her story. She's also writing a book right now - before the fbi even confirms it through dna. Something's not right. It stinks.

    the fbi should put together a collection of vintage db cooper stroke rags for sale to the american people. charge what? 1999 for a genuine db cooper silk handler

    (what i just typed, took me 3 weeks to finish, that's literally how exhausting it is)

    I think he died from the freefall and the body was just never recovered. What did he get away with...was it 700,000 or something?

    No $200,000 which is the equivalent of about 1 million today. I think you might be right about him dying on the fall though. But you'd think his body or bones would have been found, or the parachute, his clothes, or the rest of the money.

    It is a head scratcher. Probably why they are still trying to figure it out after all these years. I say even if they find him he should be set free out of principle.

    I agree. And hey, maybe the reason he's never been found is because he never jumped. This has come up before. No one actually saw him jump. Doubtful, but possible.

    I watched an episode of Brad Melzer's Decoded about him and I think the evidence they put forth along with a little reading of my own convinced me. I think it was Kenneth Christiansen.

    I swear to God i was going to ask you earlier today who that dude is....I remember this story now.
