Yikes. I'm glad I stumbled upon this one this morning. It made me wonder how much more money we are wasting rebuilding the country that we destroyed for the last 8 years. What a waste of fucking money.
I recall reading a few years back how contractors could make TONS of $$$ rebuilding Iraq because of 'potential dangers'... well here's one possibly fucked up contract:
The Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction (SIGIR) released its quarterly report to the US Congress on July 30. In it, the SIGIR raised serious concerns over Anham LLC’s contracts, and “significant weaknesses” in its billing system. The SIGIR conducted a limited incurred-cost review of Anham and questioned over 39%, or $4.4m, in charges.

yeah, makes you wonder how often this really happens.
I just thought it was ironic this was in the news yesterday along with the debt ceiling crap. No wonder we owe $669 bazilliongazzilion dollars to everyone...
