no to say it's good to let people get away with crime, but you would think after 40 years we could find a better way to spend our fbi money. :?
I would like to think that people should know that if you hijack a plane... we're not going to stop looking for you and you'll NEVER be able to stop looking over your shoulder.

i get that angle. but 40 years and 200K, is it really worth it.
mute point i guess, since the guy is dead. interesting story none the less.

I think this appeals to human curiosity more then anything. Plus, whoever solves it gets to make a name for themselves.
I saw this, this morning. Bummer. Is it wrong to root for this guy to get away? Because I'd to see him do it...
he may have pulled off the perfect crime, nobody was hurt,he was very kind while on the plane.
$200K back in the 70's was a lot of money condidering you could buy a nice middle class home for about $16 to $20,000 and avarage const.worker was making between $6 and $8 an hour, he seems to have pulled it off...
so chalk off it off to experiance
also does the statute of limitation's play into this ?

Can't believe I missed this thread before.
Maybe I missed it because I'm now apparently deceased?
