PJ20/Family & Friends

I am so jazzed for PJ20, partly because 20 of my closest friends and family are tagging along as well.

For years Ive been that guy who constantly listens to Pearl Jam and everybody I know says they think of me when they hear Pearl Jam. So to have 20 people, 11 of whom have never seen Pearl Jam before, and 5 others who've only seen them once, make the 500 mile trip is just awesome. Finally these people will get a taste of what makes me tick. My mom, who has always said she doesnt get my obsession, is coming along and so is my little sister, whom I havent had much common ground with.

It's going to be a nightmare coordinating this shit though. lol

So thanks Pearl Jam for doing the fest in Wisconsin.

Anybody else going with a huge crew?

It's awesome when you can share your love of Pearl Jam with others that are just as important in your life who may not fully understand your reasoning behind following this band so religiously.

I too have brought my Mom to a couple of shows over the course of the years and my wife has been to 10 shows herself and a few of my friends have gone with me when my wife wasn't feeling up to going.

Hopefully it will be the experience you're hoping it to be and maybe, just maybe your friends and family will have a better understanding of why you love this band so much after seeing them play.

At a minimum they will probably see your neurotic, selfish side appear a few times over the course of the weekend has you try to coordinating your schedule with 20 people who all have different agendas, lol.

Hell yeah! That's awesome. I wish I could get one whose reason wasn't something other than seeing PJ.

It is going to be a blast. My dad and I are leaving the weekend before on our motorcycles. We're going to take our time getting to East Troy, riding along the Mississippi River and the backroads of Wisconsin and Minnesota. Then we're meeting eveyone at the the campsite on the 2nd.

My best friend in the world is flying in from Las Vegas just for the fest. He's been to 4 shows with me - KC '00, Council Bluffs '03, East Troy '03, 'Lollapalooza '07- so its going to be all the better.

All but 5 of the people going, I've known for 20 or more years.... and Im only 26....so to say its going to mean something is an understatement.



oh yeah, and to put the icing on the cake, PJ20 will be my 20th and 21st Pearl Jam shows!!!
