    Reminds me of when I was the M.C at my sisters wedding about 5 years ago. And I had an old kiwi teacher who is also a family friend in attendance. I had said to him in the weeks leading up to it, I would make a joke at the Kiwis expense...

    and I actually got offered a job by a wedding reception place to be their mc, but I declined as I did not like the public speaking, and I got very drunk which made it somewhat bearable... :)
