    2 options, IMO :

    * 1. Itunes froze; that's why it says it keeps trying to access Gracenote database, when, actually, it's just frozen. The same happened to me while trying to import the Philly boxset. In this case, leave the CD in, quit ITunes (or force-quit, if not accessible because it totally froze), relaunch ITunes, click on the CD on the left (if still there, or right-click on the CD that has mounted on your desktop and open w/ Itunes) and import it. It should start again to access Gracenote and provide you with the info in a matter of seconds.

*2. This bootleg is not yet in the database (I would doubt it, but who knows?). Then I believe you should have a small cross on the right of the bar where it says it tries to access Gracenote database. Click on it. And put the names of the tracks yourself. Then click import.

  • Agreed. I have 10 or so 2003 bootlegs in Itunes. State College tracks were listed if I remember correctly, because that one was sold commercially. The others I just skipped/cancelled the grace notes prompt and wrote the track names in myself. They all play/work fine.
